4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Information

4th ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT (All proceeds from the tournament benefit the Camp Good Days & Youth Play Project)

The 4th Annual Stinger Sports Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Bath Country Club.

Over the past three years our event secured over $36,000 for Gold Glove Charities, which helped with Mike Martin’s cause to provide kids who are battling cancer with a personal experience. The last two years we were able to select two kids from our area. However, sometimes life gets in the way of good causes too, where Mike has taken a different job in KC, which will require a lot more of his time. Mike will be continuing his charity through 2025, but will be disbanding it at the end of the year. So, we say thanks to Mike for all his hard work and dedication to his charity and for the many years he gave to this cause.

In 2025, we unfortunately will be moving in another direction and we are looking forward to a bright future with the following two charities:

CAMP GOOD DAYS & YOUTH PLAY PROJECT!

YOUTH PLAY PROJECT is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring that financial barriers never prevent children from experiencing the transformative power of sports. We believe that participation in sports teaches invaluable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Our mission is to provide children with opportunities to compete by offering assistance with quality equipment and player fees. By supporting Let Them Play, donors help create an inclusive environment where every child has the chance to learn, grow, and succeed through sports, regardless of their financial situation.

CAMP GOOD DAYS strives to improve the quality of life for families affected by cancer or sickle cell anemia through residential camping programs and year-round recreational and support activities in the Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse, New York areas. At Camp Good Days, participants have the opportunity to regain some of what cancer has taken away from them. While a vast majority of our participants reside in NY, Camp Good Days has no geographical boundaries and accepts children from all 50 states and all over the world.

As you might imagine, proceeds are not generated through greens fees alone. Instead, we rely on sponsorships (partnerships) to cover additional expenses and provide funds for the charity. The tournament will offer an opportunity for increased visibility for you or your company through many sponsorship opportunities. All sponsorships will be included in publicity materials, press releases, on-site displays, social media platforms, tournament website, meals, and the awards ceremony program.

All proceeds go directly to Youth Play Project & Camp Good Days (which will remain local). This year’s recipient(s) will be from this local area again. Should you have any questions please contact any of the committee members below or contact Sean Eighmey directly. We appreciate your time and consideration of support for our 4th Annual golf tournament to support the two charities. We look forward to another successful event in 2025.
